I hear about people trying to lose weight all the time. And there is enough fad diets out there to totally confuse even the most experienced of dieters. I fail at counting calories. I fail and most diets. I even fail at starving myself. In the process I have created an unhealthy body that I now must find a way to make it healthy. I finally settled on clean eating, this is not a diet. This is not just about losing weight (and I need to lose some). This way of eating is all about just eating healthy. So let’s begin. The first thing I would do is become an avid label reader. There is so much garbage in our food system. Even organic is not always organic. Even if you are growing all your own food you are possibly not being organic.
Read even the water bottles. Let’s discuss hydration. I am the biggest bad person about hydration. I do not drink enough water and I am trying to change that. There is an app for your phone that will remind you to drink water. This is a pain in the butt but very good to help break bad habits. Yes this is a bad habit. The app is called “water drink reminder” by leap fitness group on the google play store. Another great way is to be able to measure the amount of water you are drinking. Healthy Water. I am sure you have heard about the quality of tap water. Personally I think the tap water is very unhealthy. I do not think drinking bottled water is any better just easy. Because now you also need to be away of the plastic bottles and what they are made of. I started by putting a Brita filter pitcher in the refrigerator. I thought I was doing a good job. That says a lot for someone who does not like to drink water much.

Now I have a few recipes for you to help encourage you to drink more water. Well recipes is a lose interpretation. I might add that water is the one liquid that our body needs the most. Hope you enjoy some of the recipes.
If you leave your infused water in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes it has a stronger taste.
You can use the fruit from your first drink about 4 times before it loses its flavor.
Keep a pitcher of water in the fridge with the fruit and keep refilling it throughout the day.
You can add sparkling water to change things up a bit also.
